In the book Rich Dad Guide to Investing; Robert Kiyosaki, New York Time Best Selling Author explains that it doesn’t take money to make money. People who thinks that it takes money to make money are people who where from the employment quadrant. And for an entrepreneur it doesn’t take money to make money because their primary ally is time. Yes, money can be a factor, but a start-up entrepreneur can use TIME as his leverage to make money.
Many people nowadays wants to start their own business because they think that it’s the best way to get rich but most of them can not start right away because they are too busy and most of all don’t have capital to start with.
In this book Rich Dad’s Guide to Investing Robert Kiyosaki enumerate the different programs on how you can raise money for your business. Another book that I can suggest that you can refer to when raising money for your business is Rich Dad’s OPM which stands for Other People’s Money.
People Who Started Their Own Business With Little or No Capital to Start.

Hey Ed,

Gilbey Aguirre
@Gilbey: One thing that I learned is never to do business alone (sole-prop) always look for an investors or partners because of so many taxes that government requirs and you don’t want to do the hard work alone right? better be in a team of entrepreneurs rather than doing it alone. Believe me, I’ve been there. That Book “Rich Dad’s Guide to Investing” are so true and real. You will understand more about the disadvatange of running of a sole-prop business once you read that book. That is why I can relate to that book.
wow this all sounds an eye-opener! thanks dude! good thing i have the knowledge ahead, and by the way, i wanted to ask further how google adsense works for you? thanks
Honestly, my earnings on adsense is not substantial. For you to generate a big amount on adsense you must generate atleast 50,000 visitors per month. I just put the adsense sayang din kasi pambayad na din ng telephone bill and since working naman ako sa traffic ko. But the big income is on the affiliate and network marketing opportunity. So whatever yung ginagawa mo sa pag-generate ng traffic, just continue doing it because internet / network marketing is building a business, and we are not betting on lotto.
I am a Filipino online marketer and I am proud of the accomplishments of my great compatriots named Carl Ocab and Lloyd Luna. In fact, I am a subscriber to their blogs.
It is really possible to get rich even without big capital. Aside from luck, hard work and commitment are two necessary factors. And with the help of the internet, everything is possible.
@Tom: You are precisely and absolutely correct!
Ed,
Thanks for another great info here, this SHOULD be read by those who are planning to put any kind of busines.
To add on to what Ed says also, putting up a business in the Philippines has many types and each has its advantages and disadvantages. Always ask for consultation specially if this is going to be your first venture in putting up a “traditional” business. Ive been there…so I know which one works or not.
More from you Ed.
Stay blessed and keep rocking!
