What topic to put on your MLM blog is a new blogger’s nightmare! Many newbie’s tend put anything on their blog such as horoscope, game cheat codes, lotto number, etc. I mean it is ok to put those things on your blog as long that it is you. What I mean by this is that your blog is all about YOU! Your passion – the things that you do that you love most. Your core competencies and experiences which can be a solution to other people problem.
Your reader will know if you are just faking it, or providing value. In blogging, the more your provide value to other people, the more they will perceive you as an expert or leader who can help them to solve their problems. And these problems can be business related issues, love life, family, parenting, website traffic, etc. If your blog will not provide value and solution to its readers therefore people will not visit and return to your blog site.
In this blog post I’m going to give you a simple workshop so you will know what to put on your blog. I also provided my answer (which is in red letters) on the following question so you will have an idea.
Now, get a pen and a piece of paper and answer the following question. Don’t procrastinate because what I’m going to reveal to you is very important Do it NOW! Not later, not tomorrow but NOW!
1. Write your top 5 (five) passions in life. Put a ranking next to each from 1 to 10. 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest, based on what you feel you’re most excited about.
a. Blogging – 8
b. Internet Marketing – 7
c. Network Marketing – 7
d. Coaching – 10
e. Mindset and Leadership – 9
2. Write your top 5 (five) CORE COMPETENCIES. These are the things you are either Good at, have proficiency in, or have a strong desire to be good in them & would like to teach them about. Then put a ranking being 10 the highest and 1 the lowest.
Note: Even if you are not proficient in the certain areas but are very passionate about them, you can always interview experts who are at the top of their field, and use these valuable interviews for your blog.
a. Web Development and Designing – 10
b. Coaching – 10
c. Mindset and Leadership – 4
d. Recruiting – 4
e. Relationship Building – 4
3. Now, look and see if one of these areas crossed into both your passions and core competency. Choose the highest ranking and write it below.
